This morning I had coffee with a guy I met recently and we talked about what it means to live life wholistically. Most of us plod through life compartmentalizing everything. We have our home life, our work life, our life of extracurricular activities and in those, "compartments" we interact with people based on which compartment we happen to be in. We tend to try to live up to certain expectations but often struggle with the interconnectedness of it all. How do we connect it all? If I'm living for me than all I have is the now but if I'm living life as a contributer, a giver and a servant than in every circumstance I have purpose and opportunity.
